Directions

After searching unsuccessfully for more than three years for an organic smoked paprika, we developed our own! This paprika is smoked with oak wood to give it an earthy flavor that pairs well with egg, bean, and potato dishes, as well as roasted and grilled meats, and any dish it is added to. Fragrantly sweet and intensely colorful, this is a great spice to keep on hand. 

Paprika releases its flavor and color when heated. It can also burn easily, and once it's brown, it starts to become bitter. So take care not to cook it too long (in a frying pan, for example).

Suggested Uses

Combine it with pork, shrimp and sausage dishes for perfect pællas or mix it with olive oil and rub between the skin and breast of a roast chicken. It also pairs well with deviled eggs or egg salad, or to spice up soup and guacamole dip.
